All the interface elements, and all communication using your smartphone in-game are in English. The subtitles are good, very crisp looking and well synced with what is happening in the screen. There are a bunch of extra "situations" that originally came out as DLC and are included in this Asian version of the game, like Hikari to serving you sweets at the cafe while wearing a maid outfit, you applying cream on her mosquito bite, feeding her cake, and a few more - all of those felt very immersive and fun in the way that you can expect from a good "VR demo/experience". In between lessons you can chat with Hikari via text message on your smartphone. You have a set of objectives too that the agency gives you, for things like how many skill points increased in a day, etc. You pick a set of options to build your lesson plan for each day and then pick from some more options surfing the lesson itself, and the results give you a score and you can see how much the Hikari's skills have improved. In terms of game play, there isn't much there to be honest. All those factors combined make for a very immersive experience. Hikari's model itself is the best 3D character I have ever seen in a VR game she looks great, has great facial animation while avoiding going into uncanny valley territory, and she moves and walks very fluidly just as you would expect a real person to move. The cafe where you prepare the lessons, as well as the Hikari's bedroom where the lessons take place, are both impressively modeled and detailed with a great sense of presence.
Summer lesson vr playstation Ps4#
Everything is super sharp, clear and realistic with my PS4 PRO. There is some replay value, as the game is designed to be played multiple times so you can see all the outfits and extra dialogue options that get unlocked in repeated play throughs, as well as different endings tied to the Hikari's final exam score. PlayStationVR is not for use by children under the age of 12.

It took me about an hour and a half to complete it. SUMMER LESSON A project to explore the potential for VR character interaction experience. I bought the Asian version of Summer Lesson from Play-Asia and thought I'd share my experience here.
